Summary
There are two applications out there that can be used as Adobe photoshop alternative, Photopea.com and Gimp. Photopea.com is a web-based application that very similar to Adobe Photoshop. GIMP is an open source image manipulation software that can be installed on Linux, Windows and MacOS.
Photoshop is a very famous image editing software from Adobe Company. Most of their softwares are premium software and you can buy license with subscription, can be paid monthly or yearly.

Photopea.com – an Online Application that very similar with Adobe Photoshop
Do you know that there is an online, web-based application that has Adobe Photoshop UI and functionality? There is! It's called photopea.com.
Photopea.com and Adobe Photoshop have a lot of simiarities, UI, menu, toolbar, even the shortcut, you can use it there.
At first glance, maybe you think you are opening the Adobe Photoshop application. Because of it, most likely it is very easy to use by those of you who can use Adobe Photoshop application.
Photope.com is online application, so opening and saving files was done bythe upload and download method. You can save in their cloud, or just connect to your cloud storage like Google Drive, One drive, Onebox and others.
Photopea.com disadvantages
Furthermore, this application also has ads slot in the right side of the screen. If that doesn't bother you, it's probably a worthy alternative to Adobe Photoshop. Moreover, it does not require installation, only requires an internet connection.
The drawbacks that may exist in this application are the new Adobe Photoshop features, Photopea most likely only has generic features and filters that are at the level of Adobe Photoshop CS4 as possible.
Another drawback is that it is not suitable for editing very large photos or images like full installed application.

You can install photopea.com as a PWA application - Progressive Web App, its function is so that you can access photopea as its own application. The method is as follows:
- Open chrome first
- Go to the url photopea.com
- If it is already open, go to the menu more -> install photopea
- The photopea application will be separated from chrome.
And, after that you can directly search for the Photopea application directly from the searchbar, you know. No need to login to chrome first.

Gimp is an OpenSource application, if you don't know what Open Source is, you can read my article about what open source is.
Gimp stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program, if translated into Indonesian it becomes the GNU Image Manipulation Program.
GNU itself stands for GNU Not Unix, the abbreviation repeats. GNU is an operating system similar to Unix but not Unix, GNU is made with free programs.
